Jeff Freeman, assisted by Mary Rose Serafini, at our November dance, which will be on the 4th Saturday this month, at
Ivy Creek United Methodist Church
. Jeff and Mary Rose will teach a Beginner lesson in Country 2-Step from 7-8 pm, included in your admission, and then be our DJs from 8-11 pm.

FOOTWEAR: please wear either dance shoes or light-colored soles; whatever you wear must be non-marking!

Lots of Charlottesville Westies will be at the next area dance event,
DCSX, from November 16th-19th, in Herndon, VA. It's another 4-day event of social dancing, workshops, performances and competition with dancers from all over, and the Saturday night C-ville Westies pizza party too! All Charlottesville and Central VA dancers are invited; for all the details, contact

And reserve your hotel room ASAP as the event hotels usually sell out well in advance; you can always cancel it later. Don't wait until you decide to go to book your room; it will be too late!
