Hello Parents,
I hope you all have been enjoying this beautiful weather! We are just a few short weeks away from Heritage day. Thank you for choosing the heritage you'd like to represent. I know our teachers and students are working hard to be sure this event is a great one!
We are pleased to announce that we have a new addition to our Early Education Staff. We are thankful to have Comfort Ogola working in our Toddler Center. I am confident that her warmth, love for God, and genuine care for children will be a blessing to us all!
Reminder: Our campus is closed this Friday, 3/15. Chapel is next Thursday, 3/21.

Heritage Day is Coming Soon!
Our Preschool and KR classes will be participating in Heritage Day on Thursday, April 4th. This is a fun time for our children to learn about other wonderful countries in our world. We encourage you to dress your child either in clothing of your own family's heritage or a country in which you have interest, and bring a food dish from that country to share. We will all enjoy fun, foods representing various cultures, entertainment, and fellowship!

Athletics Open House Tonight
Tonight, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., VCS will be hosting an Athletics Open House in the multi-purpose room. During this meeting, you will hear the vision for the future of our athletic department at VCS, as well as learn more about our current programs. You will also have an opportunity to meet our coaches.
Please encourage other families, who do not currently attend VCS, to stop in and learn about all that VCS athletics has to offer!

Staff Appreciation Week!
March 25th - 29th, 2019
It's time to show how much we
Love and Appreciate
our teachers and staff! We are blessed to have such wonderful people loving our children and doing things, daily, to bless them and pour into their lives.
Now, it's time for us to bless them back! We are asking for a $3.00 donation to cover the events of the week. Please place your donation in an envelope marked "Staff Appreciation" and send in with your child.
Potluck-Thursday, March 28, 2019
We will be coordinating a potluck lunch for the staff and need donations of appetizers, salads, pastas or dessert. We will also need volunteers who can help between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. with the decorating, serving and clean up.

ESPY: Excellence in Sports Performance Year Award
Save the Date! The Vacaville Christian Schools Booster Club will host the 2nd Annual ESPY format awards dinner recognizing our outstanding athletes, coaches and volunteers. The event will be be, Friday, May 17th, 2019. This event includes a catered dinner by Erica Marie's Catering.

Falcon Referral Program
VCS is offering a tuition discount for the 2019-2020 school year - The Falcon Referral Discount! You can earn $1000 credit toward your tuition for the 2019-2020 school year by referring a new family.
How does it work?
Refer a new family to VCS. When the new family enrolls for the 2019-2020 school year, the referring family (that's you!) and the new family will each receive $1000 credit for the 2019 -2020 school year, toward their tuition. You can refer up to five (5) families in one school year. The $1000 credit is off your total tuition, not per child.
