Overnight Adoration Tonight! 8/7
From Fr. David
St. John Vianney walked to his new assignment, a backwater parish in Ars, France. He had lost his way when he stumbled upon a shepherd boy, Anthony Givre. Fr. Vianney asked Anthony to show him the way to the parish. When they arrived, Vianney exclaimed, “Anthony, you have shown me the way to Ars. I will show you the way to heaven!”

It’s the job of each and every parish priest to show his people the way to heaven. Priests do this through their celebration of the Mass, hearing Confessions, celebrating the other sacraments, and simply by being present for their flock. Above all else, a life of personal holiness is essential for priests to be who they are. Priests need to know Jesus in order to bring Him to others.

And you, dear friends, can help...
