Announcements
With the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. in April 1968, students across the country staged sit-ins and challenged discriminatory practices in an attempt to create more minority representation on college campuses. Roger Pulliam, who witnessed the formation of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Student Scholars Academy at Western Michigan University, will give the 2019 Martin Luther King, Jr., Day Lecture at Luther College. Pulliam's lecture, "A 50-year retrospective on Martin Luther King, Jr.'s impact on African American students' presence in higher education," is 7 p.m. Monday, January 21, in Valders Hall of Science, Room 206.

Caf to Community is run through the sustainability program, where we pack leftover food from our cafeteria and deliver it to First Lutheran Church’s food shelf. We are currently looking for volunteers to help us pack! This is a very easy and fun way to help out the community in a short amount of time. We pack twice a week, Sunday and Wednesday nights. Volunteers, please sign up here .

Luther has purchased a 3-year subscription of the campus-wide Lynda.com product called LyndaCampus.
