TCHS HOSA Blood Drive impacts 396 patient lives

The Heath Occupations Students of America (HOSA) at Texas City High School held their annual fall Blood Drive last week.

There were 221 people registered at Texas City High School's  blood drive with 132 of those successfully donating blood. The blood center collected 132 units of whole blood. The blood center typically processes whole blood donations into 3 components (red blood cells, platelets and plasma) which means the HOSA blood drive will potentially impact 396 patient lives. Awesome!
