COVID-19 Resources and Toolbox: Invest Durham and BACD Biz Toolbox
Listed below are 3 new digital transformation programs to help small businesses to get online during COVID-19. Businesses will have access to a Digital Main Street Squad who will review your needs and the tools required to expand your web/digital presence so your business can relaunch, reopen and recover!
ShopHERE provides INDEPENDENT SMALL BUSINESSES and ARTISTS with a quick, easy and no-cost way to get selling online right away by providing free help to create an e-commerce website on Shopify.
Digital Main Street For BIA/CBD (mainstreet) businesses who have a commercial space. Free Digital Services Squad to help you with expanding your web/digital presence, training and a grant opportunity of $2,500 to use towards implementing their Digital Transformation Plan (DTP). Grant deadline is October 31, 2020. Digital Services continue to Feb 2021.
Businesses who are NOT mainstreet and don't qualify for the above programs, could qualify for BACD's Program. Funded in part by the Region of Durham and Ministry of Ontario, businesses will have access to a free Digital Services Squad to help with expanding of their web/digital presence, training, mentoring and the chance to apply for a grant opportunity of $2,500 for their Digital Transformation Plan.

R3 - REBUILD, REOPEN, REVIVE
Program for women-led businesses such as small retail, sole proprietor and personal service industry to support the reopening, rebuilding and revival of the business.
This immersive online workshop program connects businesses with industry experts for guidance, mentorship and practical advice about process modernization and end-to-end digital transformation. It is completely free for businesses and supports firms of any size across Ontario. This program is part of the Toronto Region Board of Trade’s Reimagining Recovery Framework.
