Are you a good decision-maker?
 Decision-making is the act of choosing between two or more courses of action, and decision-making is an important skill for a leader. Your chapter will stand on your decisions. It is important that you make rational choices for the sake of the chapter.
Decision-making is critical for leaders.
Your decisions affect chapter members so you need to carefully think about the decisions you make. Members want a strong leader that they can follow. Show them how comfortable you are with making decisions. Is leadership about friendships? No, it is not; it is about relationships. Is leadership about popularity? No, it is not. Sometimes leaders avoid making an unpopular decision just to maintain their own popularity. They fear that their decision will make people mad. Notable is this quote from General Colin Powell who said, "Trying to get everyone to like you is a sign of mediocrity..."

Be self-confident - don't second guess yourself.
2. A wrong decision is better than no decision.
3. Be responsible through humility with your choices and decisions.

1. Make the decision yourself without consulting members. This is usually best in a crisis situation.
2. Gather a team to provide feedback and insight before making the decision.
3. Have everyone vote on the decision.
