TIME TO CELEBRATE! PATH Intl. Member of the Month
|
|
Congratulations to Chelsea Packard, the first PATH Intl. Member of the month for March!
Chelsea is with Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center, a PATH Intl. Premier Accredited Center in Loxahatchee, FL. She joined PATH Intl. in 2012 after completing an internship at Central Kentucky Riding for Hope, a PATH Intl. Premier Accredited Center in Lexington, KY. She was a social work major and wanted to combine a love of horses and helping people. She saw joining PATH Intl. and becoming a PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor as the first step toward a wonderful opportunity to use her skills and work her dream.
Chelsea's favorite thing about belonging to the EAAT community? "I have loved the networking opportunities and resources that connect individuals from across the country who are using the same modality--horses--to impact the lives of others in life changing ways."

It is a difficult decision to choose from the many excellent nominations, and we thank the judges for their time. Thank you to all the nominators for their dedication in recognizing the achievements of those in EAAT.
We are pleased to announce the 2019 PATH Intl. regional award winners. Click here to see the list.

Baseline Definition Resource Guide (Terminology) Initiative Update
|
|
As many of you know, PATH Intl. is leading an initiative
with the goal of term definition consensus among the major stakeholders in the field of equine-assisted activities and therapies (EAAT).
Next month, a survey will be distributed to you, various EAAT stakeholders and interested individuals to understand how terms and definitions are understood and being used in the field. This data will be analyzed and used as a framework for discussion at a baseline definition summit to be held in July 2019.
Click here to read about the participants in the summit, representing a wide range of perspectives from the EAAT field. If you have any questions, please contact

Free Webinar Through EquestrianProfessional.com
|
|
Center Members! It's time for the next administration webinar with EquestrianProfessional.com. We'll be taking a close look at how to create a business website that works for you.
EAAT Horse Business Websites That Work Date: Tuesday, March 19th, 2019 Time: 5:30 p.m. Pacific - 7:30 p.m. Central - 8:30 p.m. Eastern Place: Simulcast - attend via your phone or computer Speaker: Elisabeth McMillan
Summary: One of the toughest things about running a successful EAAT program is keeping up with all the business tasks you should do - like marketing and business management - while doing all the things you have to do - like taking care of your horses, clients and volunteers.
Over the years of working with horse professionals to improve their businesses, the key places we like to start is with implementing automation and systems that consistently leverage time, energy and money. One area that delivers results quickly is a strategically designed website that is set up to work - not just in terms of being effective but like how an extra employee (or two) would work. We've found that when horse business owners have hard working websites, their businesses run both more effectively and with less effort.
During our upcoming webinar "EAAT Horse Business Websites That Work" we'll show you several tricks and tips to turn your website into a "work horse" for your business.

PS. If you would like to submit your website for review (or to be used as an example) during our webinar, please include your website address in the form field on the registration page.

Coming Soon! Always Improving Technology for PATH Intl. Members
|
|
PATH Intl. is developing a new database to enhance the members' user experience. The PATH Intl. website links directly to a customer relationship management (CRM) system, which is the technology used to manage member relationships and interactions. Currently this database is where members manage their contact information, make purchases from the store and the tool that links those records to online directories seen on the website such as find a center and the member directory. The new system, which is slated to launch in the next few months, will offer a friendlier user interface, ability to submit instructor compliance online and the ability to submit all center renewal requirements online in one setting. The member's profile page will even be customizable! Click here for a sneak peek at the future member experience. Watch for more information soon!
