Project Update                  Castellina Marittima, Tuscany                    Oct 15, 2018
CENTER FOR CONTEMPLATIVE RESEARCH
We are only months away from making this vision a reality.
We have found the perfect site and now thanks to the generosity of early contributors we have raised $920,000 of the $1,230,000 required to purchase the two properties where we will build up to 21 off- grid meditation cabins.
Now, Your Donation Will Be Matched by an anonymous donor, leaving only $155,000 left to raise among Lama Alan's students worldwide before we can close the deal on these properties as scheduled in December, 2018.

Leverage your generosity by donating online, by check, or by bank transfer.   www.sbinstitute.com/donation-to-ccr/
Estimated Timeline:
The project is enthusiastically supported by the Castellina Marittima administration and city council and permitting for the project is now in the co-planning process of Tuscan regional administrators and municipal planners.

Dec 31, 2018   Project adoption by Castellina Marittima city council.

April 30, 2019  Project final approval

Adoption the administrative landmark that gives us certainty of permit approval and is the point at which we will conclude the purchase of the two properties we have under option.

Also, at the time of adoption we will be ready to immediately submit our construction plans, which are already well developed by our architect, Gianrico Cerri.

The cost to purchase the two properties for the project is $1,230,000.

The total estimated cost of the project is $4,200,000 US.

If You Share The Vision and Would Like to Help
Your donation now will be matched and help us to purchase the property for the cabins and an adjacent villa that will serve as the gateway to the retreat area, staging area for food deliveries, staff and volunteer residence, and headquarters for the research activities.

The purchase of the land is the first step, but to complete the project and be ready for retreat by early 2021 we will have to expand our reach to those who may not yet know about CCR. Your introductions to donors and ideas for how to spread the word will be the key to our success.

We can support your own creative fundraising events with the video of Alan’s vision for CCR subtitled for your audience and other materials to make your event large or small a success. Let’s talk.  [email protected]

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT.
