Centennial Update
|
There are still plenty of opportunities to become involved. Specifically, we have two requests at this time. First, we need a committee to help curate a tribute to the iconic Rochester buildings and architects of the past 100 years that will be on display at the Design Awards Gala on June 14. History buffs and creative exhibit designers needing an outlet are all welcome. Second, is
ImagineRIT
, which will take place on Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. AIA Rochester and the RIT Master of Architecture students will be running an interactive children's exhibit all day to promote the profession to our future architects. Contact Michelle Murnane at [email protected] READ MORE

If you don't, you risk falling behind on an important trend that potentially presents a competitive challenge for your firm. You also risk missing the opportunity the technology itself presents. Blockchain and its real-world applications are constantly evolving - which is why understanding the basics now is so critical.

AIA Rochester - Centennial Instagram Campaign
|
Our Centennial Instagram project is underway! Follow us on Instagram at @aiaroc. The images are also being cross-posted on Facebook at AIA Rochester. Thanks to the efforts of GG Garzon, Associate AIA - our new Social Media Director, and the beautiful images from our member firms, our Instagram 365 Initiative has reached over 1.6K people on Facebook alone.
If you are an AIA Rochester member firm, it's not too late to participate. All firms are welcome and encouraged to participate in one of our public advocacy campaigns for 2019! All you need to do is email us 10 images (preferably JPG - 300dpi), include your firm name, provide a short description of each photo, and list the name of the photographer. All images must be of locations in our Rochester region and can be images of buildings, a specific image of a building element, community project, or a firm event. The goal is to promote local architecture firms, local architects and local good design. GET CONNECTED and be part of the movement! Questions, email Linda at [email protected]
