Frank Giasullo Quartet to Play Cool Flute Jazz July 29 in Chatham
The Frank Giasullo Quartet, comprised of four touring jazz musicians based on Cape Cod, will entertain with their jazz arrangements at the First Congregational Church of Chatham on July 29. The well-known local combo includes guitar, bass guitar, drums, and Frank Giasullo on flute and synthesizer.
"It is such a pleasure to play with these guys. Rick Arnoldi, our guitar player, has toured the country, fronting for major bands. John Owens on bass and guitar has played all over the Boston area with jazz and rock bands. Larry Biron is both an art and a music lover. He owns the Cove Gallery in Wellfleet, and has been playing drums in blues, rock and jazz bands since college," said Giasullo. "It's a great mix."
The Quartet will play some jazz standards-songs like Van Morrison's "Moondance" , or Herbie Mann's "Comin' Home, Baby". They also feature original songs written by John Owens.
Sounds by the Sea is a series of concerts featuring excellent Cape Cod talent performing music for a relaxed Sunday evening.
