PRINCIPAL NEWS NOTE
Dear St. Alphonsus Families,

We ended our week with a lot of fun activities. On Thursday we had our Night of the Arts for our 8th graders and our Masters in May for our K-7th graders and our K5 performed Noah’s Big Boat concert. It was a busy night! Today our students had a fun day with our Cougar Outdoor Extravaganza—except with the rain today, it was mostly indoors. We had inflatables in the gym and lots of other fun activities for the students plus time for a movie and academic breakout sessions. Even though the weather isn’t cooperating, we know it was a great time for everyone and a wonderful kick-off to the Memorial Day weekend.

Next week we have Dine out at Noodles on Wednesday—but we can’t have free dress on Thursday because of 8th grade Graduation Mass and Friday is already a free dress day, so our Dine Out free dress will be Monday, June 3rd.

I am pleased to announce that we have hired a person to teach Spanish starting next school year. His name is Bob Wallace and he has been a Spanish teacher for the past ten years at St. Joseph Parish School. He is excited and committed to the goal of our students being able to pass into 2nd year Spanish once in high school. I am still working on interviews for Science, ELA, and our K5 positions.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Mrs. Stallmann

SPECIAL THANK YOU FROM MRS. SOKUP

Once again saying thank you does not begin to express my gratitude for your generosity. It’s been a long journey, but have welcomed my time at school to keep me going physically and emotionally. I appreciate the prayers and good thoughts through the year from many school families, friends and my family. All of this has lightened the load and for that I am blessed.

With gratitude,
Linda Sokup
