The following Wednesdays will be regular length school days for all students across OCPS to complete SAT and/or FSA tests without concern for running out of time. Please plan ahead accordingly.

Cypress Creek Shakespeare Win!  
Crill Echevaria
 
 
Crill Echevaria won second place in the English Speaking Union's State competition. Students read, analyze, perform and recite Shakespearean monologues and sonnets in three qualifying stages: at the school, community and national levels. Approximately 2,500 teachers and 20,000 students in nearly 60 ESU Branch communities participate each year.

* The Historical Society of Central Florida, Inc is sponsoring their annual essay competition for the John Young History Maker Scholarship worth $2,500! Please take a look at the attached information required to apply. The application deadline is: March 22.

February 26: FSA ELA Writing Retakes - 11th & 12th Graders who have not passed FSA ELA  
 
Feb. 28-Mar. 1: FSA ELA Reading Retakes - 11th & 12th Graders who have not passed FSA ELA
(NOTE: FSA ELA Writing & both sessions of Reading are required to get credit for the assessment)  
 
March 4-5: FSA EOC Algebra 1 Retakes (Students who have not passed the assessment)  
 
March 6: SAT School Day (ALL 11th Graders and 12th Graders who have not passed FSA ELA and/or Algebra 1 EOC)  
 
March 11-13: Performance Matters Assessment (PMA) Block Schedule (For students in any of the following classes: 9th Grade English, 10th Grade English, US History, Biology, Algebra 1, and/or Geometry)
