WEEKLY HIGHLIGHT AND SCORES

BOYS BASKETBALL headed to Upper Perkiomen on Tuesday 12/11. The Panthers made their presence known dominating the Tribe by winning the game 60-36. Tyshyre Malachi '19, Drew Mckeon '20, and Justin Green '21 all had 11 points for the Panthers. On Friday PJP traveled to Pottsgrove for a divisional rivalry game. The Panthers defeated the Falcons 75-66. Again the Panthers had a well balanced offensive effort led by Sean Bustynowicz '19 with 16 points, McKeon '20 with 16 points, Chris White '19 with 15 points, and Green '21 with 14 points. The Panthers finished the week with a trip to Devon Prep and again came home with a 54-51 win. Again McKeon '20, White '19, and Bustynowicz '19 hit double figures in the win.

GIRLS BASKETBALL opened PAC play at home against Upper Perkiomen on Tuesday. The Panthers scored 61 points in the win. Haley Jackson '21 led the stat sheet with 12 points. Tess Crossan '22, Elise Sylvester '19, Kayla Ciuba '21, and Kayla Viney '20 all contributed in the win. The Panthers were back in action on Friday against Pottsgrove beating the Falcons 51-40. Kallan Bustynowicz '21 led the scoring with 19 while Sylvester '19 contributed 10 points. Taking no time off the Panthers traveled to Spring-Ford on Saturday to take on the Rams. The Rams proved too tough as the Panthers suffered their first loss of the season losing 50-32. Again Bustynowicz '21 and Sylvester '19 led the team scoring with 10 and 7 points respectively.

SWIM started their first ever PAC season on Tuesday at our home site, Immaculata University against Spring-Ford. The girls were led but Lindsey Piontek '21 getting 2nd in the 500m free, Hilary Mack '22 placing 3rd in the 100m back, and Maggie Sullivan '21 placing 2nd in the breast stroke. The boys were led by Josh Murtaugh '21 placing 2nd in the 100m breast and 3rd in the 200 IM, and Jayson Leary 21' coming in 3rd in the 100m breaststroke. On Thursday the team traveled to Methacton. Patrick Butler '19 secured a 1st place finish in the 100m back, Murtaugh '21 won his 100m breast, and the 400 free relay of Butler '19, Murtaugh '21, Leary '21 and Matthew Brun '21 placed 1st in their race for the boys. The girls also took on Methacton on Thursday.
ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
DREW MCKEON, JUNIOR, WRESTLING
Junior Drew McKeon finished last week with 45 points which led team scoring. He scored 11 points against Upper Perk, 16 points against Pottsgrove, and 18 points against Devon Prep. He was also named as Kinetic PT's athlete of the week. The team has jumped to a strong 4-1 record leading into their home opener this week on Tuesday vs Phoenixville!

The boys take on their cross town rival this week. The Panthers hope to prove to the PAC that they are serious competitors for a PAC title this year.
