Lovejoy ISD Cultural Study
Dear Lovejoy Community:

Beyond our exceptional students, educators, award winning academics, fine arts, and athletic programs, what makes Lovejoy a destination school district? Culture.

As Lovejoy continues to grow, it is important that we articulate the essence of Lovejoy’s culture in order to protect it and ensure it thrives for future generations.

What is culture? Culture is a set of beliefs which guide actions. Culture is the character and personality of our community. It’s what makes us unique and is the sum of our values, traditions, beliefs, interactions, behaviors, and attitudes … Leadership, parents, students, policies, people, and more impact culture significantly.

I am reaching out today to request your assistance with a culture survey. This survey will take approximately 10 minutes. Your insights will be used to shape a collaborative cultural immersion session with the goal of articulating our core values and translating them into our actions, programs and community.

You may access the survey here:

We thank you for your consideration of this request and hope you will take time to complete the survey this week. It’s not often we are able to take part in work that will shape the experience Lovejoy families and educators will have for decades to come, so I’m hopeful you will make the time to be a part of this effort.
As always, please feel free to contact me.

With Respect,

Ted Moore
