Announcing...Rochelle Turner

Rochelle Turner
We are pleased to announce that  Rochelle Turner, Director of Research at the  World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) will be join us as our opening keynote speaker at the conference.

Rochelle  is responsible for the design and execution of the research that underpins the work of the Council. The policy and economic research undertaken by WTTC ensures that solid evidence of the global economic and social strength of the sector is available and that recommendations and advocacy to governments are supported by rigorous methodologies.

Rochelle will discuss how, in a growing number of places across the world, the growth and under management of tourism is bringing challenges to the balance of life for the residents, crowding the infrastructure in a destination or stressing the natural and cultural resources.  She will explore opportunities for the tourism industry to be part of the solutions that will guide collective action, and to work with governments and policy makers on how to maximise the opportunities that tourism can bring and how it can better protect the places in which we operate.
