Parking & Traffic: Friendly Reminders
Drop-off Time and Location
School begins at 8:05 a.m. Supervision for student drop-off is provided from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. All students must be dropped off on the north side of Caley. There is one line of cars on Caley. We ask that you stay in this line and continuously pull up. There is a yellow sign one car length past the opening of the front lot. NO STUDENTS may be dropped off until they have pulled up past that sign. This is for the flow of traffic and the safety of all our students. Please stay in line, do not pull around cars to get ahead.

Afternoon Pick-up Times and Locations
Strictly adhere to the indicated times. If you arrive prior to your student’s assigned pick-up time, you may be asked to leave and come back at your scheduled time. CCA staff will accompany students at all times. Those who do not have older CCA siblings or belong to a carpool with older members will immediately go outside to be picked up at their assigned time.

2018 - 2019 Yearbook Art Cover Contest
Dear CCA Students and Families,

Once again, it’s time for the yearbook art cover contest! The winning artwork will be our front cover of the yearbook and both 2nd and 3rd place will be featured in the yearbook.

A few things to keep in mind regarding the contest:
  • The theme this year is “Learning today...Leading Tomorrow.” This theme should guide the creation of the artwork and must be included/written somewhere within the art. Tip: Please make it easy to read!
  • Artwork needs to be completed on regular size (8 ½ x 11), flat printer paper.
  • All artwork must be original hand drawings or paintings by the students (no help from parents).  No digital artwork will be accepted.
  • Please make sure artwork is completed in color, not black & white. Note that artwork will be scanned for yearbook publication - when considering use of water colors, oil, crayon, colored pencils, etc.
  • For entry into the contest artwork should be given to students’ homeroom teachers or to the front office.
  • The deadline for students turning in artwork is Friday January 18, 2018.
  • The student with the winning artwork (1st place) will receive a free yearbook and will be notified/announced in the Eagle.
  • PLEASE WRITE YOUR NAME, GRADE, AND HOMEROOM TEACHER ON THE BACK OF YOUR ARTWORK. We will return all art and want to be sure the proper credit is given in the yearbook!
  • The artwork will be put in three grade categories for judging K-2nd, 3rd-5th & 6th-8th

We look forward to the students’ continued participation in the creation of the yearbook!

Thank you,
The CCA Yearbook Committee
