PROJECT MALE SESSION 6
March 4, 2019

Project MALE Session 6 will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the University of North Texas Dallas Campus  (UNT Dallas) from 10:00 am - 12:30 pm.  UNT Dallas is located at 7300 University Hills Blvd., Dallas, TX (Building 1 on the left as you enter the campus).  Instructors and Registration Team members are asked to arrive by 9:00 am.

 

Session 6's theme is Fun & Leisure and will include a boxing demonstration, drone presentation, track competition, hoop shooting, and teambuilding exercises.  Student and adult attendees are encouraged to wear athletic gear (dress to play).

ACCOUNTING CAREER AWARENESS PROGRAM (ACAP)

ACAP is a FREE weeklong residency program for high school students interested in going to college and majoring in accounting or other business-related disciplines.  Since inception in 2001, over 800 students have completed the program.
 
Although this career-readiness program is primarily geared toward students interested in business careers, students with career interests other than business will greatly benefit from classes in accounting and business, personal development and college preparation, and tours of a college campus, local companies, and CPA firms. The program concludes with the students inviting their parents or guardians to a luncheon in commemoration of their completion of the program at the end of the week.
