St Joes Hosts Dr Laura Trombley, President of the University of Bridgeport
On Friday, March 1, sophomore students attended a lecture on Mark Twain given by Dr Laura Trombley, the president of The University of Bridgeport.

In October 2018, Dr Trombley first visited St Joes to share her new vision for the University and a wealth of new programs.

SJ students were fascinated by Dr Trombley's remarks and asked insightful and engaging questions. We hope this will become a new St Joes tradition!
A Lifetime of Memories: Cadets Return from China!
From February 15-23, 27 students and staff members traveled to China as part of the Francis Xavier Immersion Program. While there, they:
  • Visited Beijing to see The Great Wall and Forbidden City.
  • Took a high-speed train from Xi’an to Wuxi to witness the incredible 8000 terra-cotta soldiers. While there, they also visited a Buddhist garden and observed a prayer service.
  • Toured Boston International School, where they took a tour of the campus, and engaged in different activities, including learning how to manipulate a 100-foot Chinese dragon!

We are thrilled that they were able to experience such an amazing journey and thank all of the faculty and staff involved in putting the trip together and keeping our Cadets safe on their journey. View additional photos on Smug Mug!
