All Saints' has a new logo! Developed by Emily Young, our new logo combines the shape of our All Saints window above the altar, a representation of our diverse community, and the centrality of Christ in our life together. You'll be seeing this logo in more and more places -- our website, our brochures, our bulletins, and even on car decals!

Dr. Jay McDaniel to Lead October 21st Meeting of Practicing Prayer: Exploring and Expanding Our Friendship with God
Jay McDaniel, Professor of Religion at Hendrix College, will be our guest facilitator for the October 21st meeting of Practicing Prayer. The group meets from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm in the Youth Room in Sutherland Hall. All are welcome.

The violin and cello students of Kristin Smith will perform a "Halloween" recital on Monday, October 29th at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary of All Saints. The students have been invited to wear costumes or Halloween-themed attire for this concert and there will be a few "scary" musical selections. All are invited to join us for this FREE event in support of these great students!

Noah Smith Fall Recital Thursday, November 1, 2018
Noah Smith, age 17, will perform in recital on the Chickering grand piano in the nave of All Saints Episcopal Church, 501 S. Phoenix Ave, Russellville, AR on Thursday, November 1st, 2018 at 7:00 pm. The performance will feature a program of works by J.S. Bach, Frederic Chopin, Franz Joseph Haydn and Bela Bartok. Noah will also speak briefly about his experiences at the 2018 Lutheran Summer Music camp during his recital.
Lutheran Summer Music (LSM) is sponsoring this event and young people are especially encouraged to attend. LSM offers 2 or 4 week summer camp sessions for students in grades 8-12. This unique camp combines opportunities for worship and music. Students have opportunities to participate in band, choir, orchestra, musical theatre, handbell choir, jazz ensemble, chamber music, composition and private instrument study (including pipe organ). Daily Morning and Evening Prayer services and Festival Worship on Sundays are cornerstones of the LSM experience. In addition, students participate in several field trips to local places of interest. The upcoming LSM sessions will happen in July, 2019 on the campus of Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, IN.
Smith is in his senior year at Russellville High School. A proud member of the Cyclone Band, he earned All Region and All State honors this year in both Concert and Jazz Bands. He is a life-long member of All Saints, where he sings in the Adult Choir and serves as Assistant Organist. He plays Principal Bassoon in the Arkansas Symphony Youth Orchestra and has earned the rank of Life in Boy Scouts.

Wednesday Night Eucharists
All are invited to join for Wednesday Night Eucharists. Services begin at 6:30pm and each week features a different style of worship, but most are candlelit services that provide a meditative worship experience. The first Wednesday of the month is a Eucharist with prayers for healing. The second is a Sung Evening Prayer and Eucharist. The third is a Celtic Eucharist, utilizing Trinitarian language and creation imagery. The fourth is a Taizé Eucharist, which features repetitive sung prayers.

EYC+ Dinners
All Saints' is inviting all 6th-12th grade students to join the new Episcopal Youth Community Plus (EYC+) ministry on Wednesday nights from 5:00-7:00pm. This group will meet for dinner, christian formation, and fun fellowship. Everyone from the parish is invited to provide this group with dinner. Contact

Our Curate, the Rev. Michaelene Miller, will regularly be at Midtown Coffee (407 N. Arkansas Ave) on Friday mornings from 8:00 am - 10:00. Email her at [email protected] to set up a specific time to meet or just drop by to chat. She would love to get to know you more and meet others in the community.

Most of the guests who join us on Saturday for lunch face many challenges; the members and friends of All Saints' can provide a few essential items to help them out.
Please place items in the little red wagon in the Nave. Gifts received at Sunday Worship Service will be available for our Neighbors Table guests the following Saturday.

Thanksgiving Feast at Neighbors Table
The Thanksgiving Feast at Neighbors Table
will be served on Saturday, November 22 at noon. Once again, our NT partners at New Prospect Baptist Church will be preparing and serving a traditional turkey dinner to our NT guests and to members of both churches.
As in past years, All Saints' members are asked to provide the turkeys. We anticipate needing 12 big birds for the meal. The New Prospect cooks will roast 4 of the turkeys as they prepare the dressing, gravy, and all the traditional 'fixins.' Members of our Parish who plan to provide a frozen turkey can sign up on the turkey list in Shoemaker Hall. If you can also roast your turkey and debone the meat, please indicate that when you sign up. For questions call Carolyn McLellan at 479 264 5969.

Neighbors Table
Join us on Sat. October 27, 2018 for our weekly meal served from 12:00-1:00 PM. Thanks to those whose generosity helps us serve delicious, nutritious meals every Saturday. We continue to welcome newcomers to Neighbors Table nearly every week. Please remember Neighbors Table in your prayers.
Volunteers are welcome to join the teams on Saturdays from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM or for a couple hours during this time to help prepare food, serve or clean up after lunch. Schedules and dates are listed on the sign-up white boards in Sutherland Hall.
