Fresh from the royal wedding of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle, the six members of The Queen's Six are among the lay clerks of St. George's Chapel, where as members of the Chapel Choir they live on the Windsor Castle grounds.  St. George's has existed since the 14th century, and its Chapel Choir performs some eight services a week, as well as at private and state occasions, often before the royal family.

"The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee"

Based on the book by Rachel Sheinkin and music written by William Finn, "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" is a musical about a  group of six contestants who enter a spelling bee.
Homecoming Gala Concert

The concert will feature performances by the Hope College Orchestra, conducted by Christopher Fashun; Jazz Arts Collective, conducted by Brian Coyle; Wind Ensemble, conducted by Gabe Southard; and Chapel Choir, conducted by Christopher Dekker.

"The Gift of Family"

"The Gift of Family" concert is about creating a celebrating families. This concert features the song cycle "This House Shall Stand: Songs of My Family", based on the true stories of people whose differing families shaped the people they became.

J.S. Bach's "Air on the G String" is an all-time audience favorite melody.  Principal Oboist Ellen Sherman is soloist on The Baroque Concert: Bach and Beyond, which includes music from the Baroque plus a contemporary piece by Brazilian's most famous composer, Heitor Villa-Lobos, that's inspired by the music of Bach. It's the first of four concerts in the Grand Rapids Symphony's Great Erasseries.
