Shay Adams, Chief Financial Officer, presented information regarding the 403b, 457 and FICA Alternative Plan Third Party Administrator. The Board of Trustees approved this item, and details regarding the plans may be found

The January Board meeting was scheduled for Monday, January 20, 2020, which is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, and a school holiday. The Board of Trustees approved moving the January Board meeting to Tuesday, January 21, 2020.

Announcements included:
The Lovejoy Independent School District will be closed Friday, December 20 – Friday, January 3. We will reopen on Monday, January 6, 2020 which is the first day back to school for elementary, intermediate, and middle school students and staff. High school students will return to school on Tuesday, January 7, 2020.
January is School Board Recognition Month. We are looking forward to recognizing our Board Members for their service and dedication to the students, staff, parents and Lovejoy community.
The Fine Arts Festival was very successful. It was great to see the Lovejoy community enjoying the performances and art work.
Board President Chad Collins shared that the Fine Arts Festival was amazing. He thanked the administrators for great work in the 1st semester. He announced the Superintendent’s Review would be conducted in January.
