Spiritual Body Types :
What They Reveal About Your Clients

Friday March 29
9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Blue Heron Healing, 43 Amato Circle, Wethersfield
The Spiritual Body Types are: Creator, Lover, Supporter, Achiever and Challenger. Each reflects a way of holding energy in the body that defends against pain. Adopted in childhood, these defensive patterns prevent our clients from enjoying balanced relationships and moving through life with flow, vitality and grace.

For each body type you’ll discover: how they engage in life, their main issues, their hidden agendas, how they feel, how they make others feel, how they speak, their human challenge, their spiritual life task, early imprinting, the energy centers most affected, their shadow emotions, how their overall energy feels; what physical, emotional, and psychological difficulties each body type is prone to, and the gifts and talents of each one. Short and long-term healing practices are suggested for each one.

The training goal is to begin to recognize the body types to ascertain what psycho/emotional/spiritual dynamics are at play for your clients.

“VOICES, VISIONS, AND UNUSUAL BELIEFS
AN ALTERNATIVE VIEW OF EXTREME STATES”
TUESDAY NIGHTS APRIL 16, 2019-MAY 20, 2019
6:30PM-8:30PM
AT TOWN HALL ROOM 422, WEST HARTFORD

The medical model (approach) to extreme states, so-called “psychosis, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder” and other psychiatric labels, has for much too long dominated the mental health landscape. Now we have alternative views and ways to heal. This course is for all mental health professionals including social workers, counselors, and peer support specialists. Any one interested in finding meanings and understanding of distressing experiences is welcome and the course is also relevant for folks with lived experience of the mental health system, to their families, relatives and interested others. In each of 6 sessions we will view and discuss a video and talk about a revolutionary report recently out for the general public (you will get a PDF). We will examine your questions and discuss how these alternatives are coming to CT
.
