Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care Update
On February 26, 2019, the provincial government introduced new health care legislation and shared information on their plans to update Ontario's health system.



Still Looking for Inclusive March Break Fun? 
Join us for inclusive and adapted recreation and sports during our week of March Break Madness! Events include: wheelchair basketball, remote control car racing, sensory skate, VOLT hockey events and more! 
All CTN families are not limited to events in their own communities and are invited to join any of our events across Simcoe and York.


CTN Special Needs Information Fair April 27th in Newmarket 
Over 100 vendors will be in attendance at the Magna Centre on Saturday, April 27th from 1-4 p.m. Private and public agencies and organizations will provide information, advice and resources for your child, youth or young adult with special needs. join us for this free event, including a "Coffee Chat" room to connect with other families and CTN's family mentors.

Celebrating World Down Syndrome Awareness Day March 21st
To celebrate World Down Syndrome Day at CTN, we are featuring a special interview with one of our families. Patti and her husband Domenic live in York Region with their 11 year-old son, Joseph, who has Down syndrome and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Joseph is complete joy, a happy child and has been since birth. He loves to swim, do karate and adores music! His favourite thing in the whole world is his iPad and he is proficient at finding his favourite apps and music!
