On Wednesday, May 22nd, CUMC hosted the
2019 Interfaith Iftar Dinner
. We had over 120 Jews, Muslims and Christians come together for some delicious food prepared the
Peace Islands Institute
. Thank you to our Chatham UMC Board of Church and Society and Ana Wahidy for your leadership and hospitality in hosting our guests. It was a wonderful evening.

Elise Aston, a former member of Chatham UMC, entered Life Eternal on May 17, 2019 after being on hospice. She and her husband Jim were members at our church for many years and moved to NY state some years ago.

Marilyn Gilbert entered Life Eternal on May 19, 2019. Marilyn and Jim Gilbert have been faithful members of the Chatham UMC for many decades. Let us keep Jim, their children Lynn, Jim and Leigh Ann and their families in our prayers as they grieve Marilyn's death, and celebrate her life that in Christ, has no end. The family is tentatively planning a Memorial Service for Marilyn Gilbert for

As always, this RISE fundraiser will help our youth work teams traveling to Steuben County, NY, the week of July 21

, to make homes warmer, safer, and drier for those in need.
