Daughters of the King (DOK)
The Order of the Daughters of the King
is open to all women in the Episcopal Church. A daughter pledges herself to a life-long program of prayer, service, and evangelism.
We are all at different stages of our Christian journey - some have just begun and some have been on this path for a long time. But no matter where we are on our sacred journeys, our primary goal is the same - to know Jesus Christ and to make Him known to others.
For those interested in joining the Daughters of the King, contact Judy Smith at [email protected].

Assisted Living Outreach
In the spirit of "love thy neighbor",
Holy Comforter has reached out to a pair of our assisted living neighbors (Elmcroft and The Claiborne) to explore how we might partner together. Residents at both centers welcome human interaction through everyday activities like playing cards, knitting, singing, arts, crafts, movies, baking and even taking mundane trips to stores. Interaction with children and young adults is very special, especially during Holidays (think, Adopt a Grandparent).
If you are interested in this
new outreach opportunity, please let us know by contacting the church office or by clicking on here. If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact Fred Hoogland at 770-335-7942.
