Message from the Principal
Parents and Friends of Beaumont,
Tomorrow will mark the midpoint for this fall semester. Because we are on a semester calendar and not quarters, we will be sending out interim reports not report cards next week. The difference being that the grades included on the interim reports are not stored and do not get calculated into a student’s final grade point average. They do however, offer a good glimpse into your daughter’s progress and performance thus far. These interim reports will be mailed out early next week, so you have plenty of time to review them prior to parent/teacher conferences on Thursday, November 1. Conferences will take place from 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. that evening. As always, all parents are encouraged to attend. If your daughter is struggling in a class or is not performing up to expectations, we especially encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity. Unlike past years, there will be no spring semester conferences, so this will be the only parent/teacher conferences night this year. Please know that teachers are always available by email or phone throughout the year. Our goal is that all parents have an opportunity to talk with their daughter's teachers. To help facilitate this, we have created this signup form for you. We look forward to seeing you.
Other Notes
The newsletter is moving! No need to worry, we will continue to email the letter each week, but we are now also placing it in our
News
section on our website, so you can easily find it whenever you want, without searching your email. But if you like searching for stuff, you can use the Search function when you click
Menu
on our website and type “newsletter” to find it as well.

Mission Integration
This week we celebrate the feast of St. Teresa of Avila, a doctor of the Church, who was a contemporary of St. Angela Merici. In her writings Teresa says, that God “looks not so much at the greatness of our works, as at the love with which they are done.” Like St. Angela, she believes that much more can be accomplished with kindness and concern than with harsh words or stern criticism. Teresa says “ May ours be the eyes with which he (Christ) looks with compassion on the world. May ours be the feet with which he walks to do good.”
