It is with great sadness that I inform the congregation of the passing of Donald Halprin, beloved father of congregant Leslie Heyison, father-in-law to Joseph Heyison and grandfather to Claire and Alex Heyison; also the beloved husband of Shirley Halprin. Donald and Shirley attended High Holiday services at Temple Beth El for many years and loved the service and beautiful environs.
The
funeral will be graveside at 11:00 am on Friday, May 24th at the B'nai Jacob Memorial Cemetery at 200 Wintergreen Avenue in New Haven, Ct, followed by shiva at 21 Bradley Road, Woodbridge, CT. Shiva will continue on Sunday, May 26th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Halprin residence, 32 Lawncrest Road, New Haven, Ct.
May the mourners be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
