When will my absentee ballot be mailed?
- Village staff is working on mailing out over 6,000 absentee ballots as quickly as we can. Sending out absentee ballots is our number one priority and will remain as such until all requests have been fulfilled. Requests are being sent in the order they were received.
- If you had a request on file as of September 18, 2020 and have not received your ballot by Monday, September 28, please call Village Hall at 414-962-6690.
How do I register to vote for the November 3, 2020 election?
- You may register online at www.myvote.wi.gov (proof of residency required) or by completing the Voter Registration Form and submitting it along with a valid proof of residency.
- Note: You must have resided at the address you provide on your Registration Form for at least 28 consecutive days prior to an election in order to vote in Whitefish Bay.
How do I request an absentee ballot?
- You may request an absentee ballot by mail via myvote.wi.gov or in writing to elections@wfbvillage.org. Please include your name, address, birthdate, and photo ID. The last day to request an absentee ballot by mail is Thursday, October 29, 2020.
How do I return my absentee ballot?
- Absentee ballots may be returned via USPS or in the 24-hour drop box located in the between the front doors at Village Hall. A photo of the drop box is above.
When is in-person absentee voting?
- In-person absentee voting will take place at Village Hall, 5300 N. Marlborough Drive, starting Tuesday, October 20, 2020 through Friday, October 30, 2020, except weekends. Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except on Friday, October 30, 2020 the hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

How does the recent 9/21/20 federal court ruling affect absentee ballot deadlines?
- A recent federal court decision (Click here for opinion) changed deadlines with regard to absentee ballot responses and online voter registration. This order has not yet gone into effect (1-week stay) and an appeal is likely. The Village will continue to provide updates as we receive more information.
