How Likely is it For a Poor Person to Become Wealthy?

Katey Troutman

It seems like we hear about economic inequality on a near-daily basis in the U.S., and often the news seems to contradict itself.  One study  claims that economic inequality hasn’t improved in 50 years,  while another  claims that the national economy is naturally “fluid,”  and yet another   claims that the rich are just as affected by economic downturns as the rest of us.

But while the realities and myths of inequality in the U.S. continue to be a hot topic, debated and analyzed on a near-daily basis, some researchers are beginning to chart a different course with respect to the topic, instead examining how our view of economic equality and inequality affects things like our physical health, and even our mental and emotional well-being.

TNT:

Saturday Morning UPDATE for May 25, 2019

I talked with a banking source this morning, they said,

1. "Treasury did NOT instruct them (the banking staff) to report to work today."

2. "Private invitations to exchange should start on Monday and move rapidly." [Yes, I know it's a holiday]

3. "General exchanges should start this week, maybe as early as Tuesday?"

4. "Retail bank locations (the basic branches) would not be utilized for exchange activity."

5. "The Zim will have a short exchange cycle, watch it closely." [I don't know why and they didn't say, however, our Committee contact person is still adamant that only 2016 (?) Zim will get processed.]

Stay cool, calm and collected. When I receive more, I'll share more.

TNT: Personal Stories Shared For Caution Awareness Part 2 of 2
Post From Recaps Archives
Caution On Generosity

Angeltrish: As someone who was born with a kind and giving heart, I have always been generous my whole life, so when I received an inheritance from my parents, everyone came out of the woodwork as they saw an "easy mark".

I tried to be conscientious in my giving and I also loaned several people many thousands of dollars to save their homes (this is when the bottom fell out of the real estate market).

Everyone was very nice when they wanted me to help them but not one person paid me back and instead, they just wanted more and more money from me....the people to whom I loaned money resented me when they could not pay me back, acting like I was the bad guy and eventually each of these relationships went sour.

From Recaps Archives

(Recaps Note: We do encourage giving and we want everyone to reap the gratifying rewards of doing so - Don't allow one unfortunate experience to leave you bitter - instead, learn from that by setting boundaries - exercising caution - and practicing other suggestions listed in these personal stories shared below -- If you have a story to share or suggestions please leave them in our comment section and thank you for doing so)

Personal Stories Shared For Caution Awareness :  Caution On Generosity

Ninjagran:  As it starts to look as if things might be getting close, I see people posting about wanting to help others. Many of these plans sound great: wounded warriors, $1,000 tips to waitresses, etc. All I can say is--DON'T.

The Bible tells us to give secretly; don't even let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. When you give, keep it small and anonymous. Otherwise, you will do more harm than good.

True story. We have been hurting financially this last year. Nevertheless, I worked for nothing for a nonprofit. We also let some friends stay in our house for free, lent them money, and found the wife a job through the nonprofit.

Restored Republic via a GCR: Update as of May 25 2019

Compiled May 25 12:01 am EST by Judy Byington

Below is a summary of information from the Internet. It would be up to the individual reader to do their own research and decide whether or not it is valid.

Judy Note: Notification to set appointments was expected at any time and would be through text, 800#s and websites, with exchanges/ redemptions set within two hours. Make your appointment as soon as possible. Deadline to redeem the Zim was June 1, while currency exchanges for the private Internet Group would be completed within ten days.

On Thurs. evening May 23 President Trump gave US Attorney General William Barr authority to declassify FISA documents and ordered the intelligence community (CIA, FBI etc) to cooperate with Barr, while results of the Comey Report and Horowitz investigation would be public by June 2.

With Trump leaving Washington for parts unknown Fri. morning May 24 it was suspected that arrests on over 100,000 sealed federal indictments against political and global elites would begin in earnest.
