All Week! On a book display by the Holds Shelf
Join us in celebrating Teen Tech Week by taking home some activities to work on later. Activities for all ages will be printed out and left for the taking on a book displa
y in the foyer between the Information Desk and the Holds Shelf. Activities will be age and/or grade marked so that you can select the right coding or computational thinking activity for you, a friend, or a family member! Interested in all of them regardless of age? Take any and every activity that interests you! Activities will be made available from Monday, March 4th after school through closing on Saturday, March 9th.
Teen Tech Week: Computational Thinking Activity: Paper Robots
Monday, March 4th in the Teen Room from 2:00pm-7:00pm
Join us in the Teen Room for a CubeeCraft paper robot extravaganza. The Teen Study Room will be open with a smattering of different characters available for the taking! Grab them while you can! Then take them home and make a paper robot. Going to be at the library for a while? Ask for a pair of scissors and make the robot while you hang out! (Robots are paper action figures that have no moving parts and can not move on their own. They are an exercise in patience, following directions, and fine motor skills.)

Join us for a dine-in showing of Pacific Rim (PG-13) projected on the big screen in our Community Room. Free popcorn and candy provided - bring your dinner! Our Teen Movie showings are part of our Teen Program offerings but are open to all patrons.

een Tech Week: Beat Making with Teenage
Engineering Beat Boards
Friday, March 8th 3:00pm-4:30pm in the Community Room
Interested in music? Making beats? How sounds can be put together and layered in sequences to make a track? Join us for a musical learning session as we create with Teenage Engineering's Pocket Operators (Beat Boards). Due to the limited number of Pocket Operators owned by the library, the program is limited to 12 students in grades 6 through 12. Registration is required. Students can register for this program on our website or by calling the library.
Young Adult for Adults Book Club
SECOND TUESDAY OF EACH MONTH

Interested in a traditional book club?Want to talk about books? This is a traditional book club that meets on the second Tuesday evening of each month (due to scheduling, meeting date may occasionally be the third Tuesday of the month). It is a book group intended for "older" teens and adults. This month's book selection is Long Way Down by Jason Reynolds. Copies are available for check out at the library. Teens must be at least in high school to attend this book group. Please see Rebecca with any questions.

Monthly Anime & Manga meet up is
starting up again! Join other interested

Join Mr. Monkey and Miss Meg for a storytime adventure. Each week we will explore a fun and interesting topic as we share stories, sing songs, play games and create a piece of art.
Limit:
18 preschoolers per session. Registration is not required. Seats will be distributed on a first-come basis.
