In mental health,  assessing driving ability is complex due to the fluctuating nature of mental illness, cognitive and psycho-social factors, as well as the impact that medications may have on driving abilities. Screening these factors and understanding their impact presents clinical challenges. The aim of the webinar is to build capacity and confidence in clinicians to address driving in clients with mental health diagnoses. The session will review the development of the SPOT-DS and its applications in clinical practice.

Join our presenters on December 5th
as they discuss:
  • The impact of mental health conditions on the IADL of driving
  • The development of a screening tool - SPOT-DS
  • Incorporating the SPOT-DS into your practice
