Hard at Work...
The students have been doing a great job of keeping their focus and enthusiasm, even as Mother Nature has been throwing us some winter curve balls! Following the complex projects linked to our Africa Study, the students have returned to a more familiar rhythm and flow of the day. 

NEXT Wednesday February 14th  is our next  Early Release Day.  Please see the box below if you need to enroll your child in our ChildCare Program that day.

And while you are thinking about the calendar... Upper Elementary Families please keep in mind that t he Upper Elementary Winter Dance is scheduled for next Friday, February 16th.  Thanks to those who have signed up to help out and send in supplies and treats for the festivities!  More details are included below.

Today we sent home the March/April Pizza Form. Please click here in case yours didn't come home in one, readable piece!


Unless we have another storm, our 100th Day of the 2017/18 School Year will be next Friday! That is always a fun day here, where we celebrate our accomplishments, and the number 100! 


Earlier this week, the MFCS Roots Editorial Team met to kick off our 2018 Student Newspaper season. Stay tuned for our early spring issue.

After School Club News
Due to the recent weather, our Drama Club will make up a missed class on Wednesday, March 7th And their Reader's Theater presentation will be Friday, March 9th from 8:45-9:15 am at all-school meeting.
