NEW: Eligibility Center Transcript Deadline and Limited Holiday Service EC 

The Eligibility Center will be closed from Sat., Dec. 22 through Tues., Jan. 1 and will reopen on Wed., Jan. 2. Limited staff will be working from Dec. 26-31.

For students seeking a determination prior to the holiday break, transcripts must be received no later than Dec. 11. For students who have terms ending after Dec. 11 and have games during holiday break, please send an email to [email protected]  with the subject line " Urgent - Student name/ECID#, game date ." The "urgent" title must be in the subject line, to ensure that our staff will review the email.
 
   
 
NEW: Shot Clock Issues clock 

Due to recent issues regarding synchronization between shot clocks and the red/LED backboard lights, a clarification has been provided. If a school has the issue of the LED lights coming on when a shot clock violation occurs, it has until 2019-20 to fix the problem. There will be no administrative technical charged for the 2018-19 season.

NEW: Game Suspension Appeal Process Reminder appeal 

If a student or coach is ejected from a game, a minimum of a one game suspension will be required.  In some instances, the sport rule will require additional game suspensions. (See Competition Suspension Rubric.) When a sport rule for a suspension is less than the NAIA bylaw, a member institution may wish to appeal the additional game(s) suspension. Appeals must be submitted to the conference/A.I.I. within 72 hours of the completion of the contest. For more details regarding the appeal process, click here

The Official Hardship Request Certificate was recently updated. Membership should use the most current version going forward. As a reminder, this form addresses an exception to the seasons of competition bylaw. This form does not address terms of attendance.

Nominations Being Accepted for NAIA Student-Athlete of Character Award award

Nominations are now being accepted for the NAIA Collegiate Student-Athlete of Character Award. This award honors a student-athlete for a specific act of character exhibited during practice or competition from Jan. 1, 2018 through Dec. 31, 2018 and will be presented at the Champions of Character Foundation Luncheon on May 6, 2019. New Dates Selected for Outdoor Track & Field Championships track 

The NAC approved moving the date for the Outdoor Track & Field Championships beginning in 2020. The change will move the opening day of the championship forward one day to a Wednesday and will run through Friday. The change will provide significant housing travel savings to NAIA qualifying schools since the championships will no longer overlap Memorial Day Weekend.
