10:30am Sunday Service | Making Heart Space
In an iconic scene in the Christmas classic "The Grinch", it is shown that through generosity the Grinch's heart grows ten times. Is this possible for us? How do we grow our hearts to make room for more compassion for those around us?

Speaker: Rev. Lane Campbell

Due to COVID-19 we will be holding our worship services online
for the foreseeable future. We will hold on-line services
each Sunday at 10:30am (our regular worship time).

Joyce and Dick Gilbert are honorary co-chairs of this event. If you have questions, please contact Dick at rsgilbert@uuma.org or 585-738-8229.

Race in a Brave Space (RiBS) | Dialogues with Verdis L. Robinson
A series of 4 dialogues (Race in a Brave Space or RiBS) will create a forum to learn, grow, and act toward antiracism. They will be led by Verdis Robinson, whom many of you know as a member of our congregation. The first virtual discussion “What My History Teacher Never Taught Me” will take place on Friday, October 16 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Verdis Robinson’s guest leadership is being sponsored by the FIRE team. Congregational members will receive zoom links to the virtual seminars. Free-will donations will be greatly appreciated, and money received will support other activities toward achieving racial equity. RSVP to FIRE@uuroc.org

UU The Vote
Help us get out the vote! Join us in a voter registration effort on WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 23rd from 5 to 7pm.
www.zoom.us/my/rochesterunitarian This is part of UU the Vote and involves a key state where there has been much rumor and misinformation. Don’t worry if you haven’t done this before we are all volunteers in a worthy cause. First UU folks will be on the zoom to support you. The calls you make will require a phone and a PC. The dialing is done for you on an automated system that hides your information. The PC gives you access to our local zoom and to the script and the automatic dial instructions. If you want to learn more: https://www.uuthevote.org/phone-bank-florida/. This link includes the script and the call dialing guide. The UUA strongly encourages reading the dialing guide ahead of time.
