Students are asked to arrive and sign in at 8:45am and Mass begins at 9am.
  • March for Life Retreat- CCHS will be running a bus to the March for Life on January 18, 2019. Sign-ups for this retreat will be in Rm 114 starting Monday, December10th through Dec 19th. Students will leave CCHS at 6:15am and return at 7pm. The cost of the trip will be $45 to cover the coach bus, metro tickets, donuts and juice for breakfast. Permission slips and payment are due by January 4, 2019. Students are asked to bring money for lunch. Students will attend the Pro Life mass at the Basilica and travel by metro to the March for Life. This is a powerful experience for students to stand up and march for the dignity of all life, especially the unborn. We ask for your prayers for the success of this retreat. Those who have not done a retreat yet this year, this is a great option.
Christian Service Progam
Verification of Christian service hours for the first semester were due December 10, 2018.
As a reminder  Christian service is an annual school requirement and students will not be eligible to participate fully in other extracurricular activities and events if they have not fulfilled their service obligations.

We are in the process of loading the hours on Renweb. You can find the hours under the family tab, and then the Service Hour tab.

Upcoming Service Opportunities
St. Anthony's School with the Catholic Partnership Schools is seeking Camden Catholic students to help with their SOAR program that runs from Monday-Thursday for 5th-8th graders. Each day there is an hour of homework help from 3-4 and then enrichment clubs from 4-5 pm. Clubs have ranged from chess, sports, art, science, and more! Each club runs 1 day a week for (at least) 6 weeks.

It would be a great way for students (especially juniors and seniors) to gain service hours, as well as add volunteer experience to college and scholarship applications.

The next session of SOAR starts January 7th. Please contact Ms. Pollard at mpollard@cspschools.org or see Ms. Clinton in Rm 114.

Christ the King Religious Education in Haddonfield  is looking for student volunteers to help us out during classes on Mondays. See flyer on bulletin board outside of the Dining Hall for more details or stop by Rm 114 and see Ms. Clinton

PSAT NEWS
Congratulations! Your child took the PSAT/NMSQT or the PSAT 8/9 at school on Wednesday October 10, 2018. This test gives students a chance to take the next step to college. Here's what students can do to make the most out of their scores:

  1. Log in to or create a College Board account online. PSAT/NMSQT scores will be released online the week of December 10. Students should log in to their College Board account to see scores and test performance details.
  2. Get free, personalized SAT practice. The PSAT/NMSQT is great preparation for the SAT®. Your teen's score unlocks a free, personalized practice through Official SAT Practice on Khan Academy®. Students go to satpractice.org, create an account, and link their College Board and Khan Academy accounts for a plan based on their test results.
  3. Explore Careers. When students log in to see their scores, they can connect with Roadmap to Careers. They answer questions to find out which careers interest them, what degrees they'll need, and what high school courses to take. They can watch video interviews with people in professions related to their interests.
All students will receive their scores, their test booklet, and an access code to use on Collegeboard.  Sophomores and Juniors will also be instructed on how to link their PSAT scores to Khan Academy.  For more information on the PSATs please visit:  https://parents.collegeboard.org/psat-nmsqt
