Andrea Winterbottom, a certified Hatha yoga teacher and Federation of BC Writers member will lead you through a series of pranayama (breathing exercises) and asanas (yoga postures) to open pathways to allow creativity to flow. For Tweens and Teens in grades 4 and up. Want to get help with your homework? Teen tutors will help you reach your academic goals. Preference will be given to those who have not yet participated in Homework Help in 2019.  Registration required

The Library offers several volunteering opportunities for teens and tweens. Join our Teen Advisory Council, Tween Advisory Group, or the Teen Art and Promotion Group. Join the Read Along program, or help with library events! 

Spring Break Vision Board
March 19 - 28

Spring is the time of year where we plant seeds and watch them blossom and grow. During Spring Break come by The Room and plant your own seeds by creating a personal vision board for 2019. Drawing, colouring, or collaging, vision boards are a creative way to get excited for the year ahead!
Teen Gaming
Fridays, March 1, 8, 22, 29 3:30 - 5:15 p.m.

For grades 7 and up. Drop into The Room to play your favourite "E" or "T" rated games for Wii or PS4, or play board games. Bring your own, or use ours. Drop-in

Board to Death
Wednesdays, March 6, 13, 6:30 - 8 p.m.

For ages 16 and up. Come and play board games! All are welcome and new games are introduced regularly. This is a casual, fun, welcoming atmosphere and you don't have to be good at board games. Usually held in The Room, but check @yunorthshore on Instagram to confirm time and place. Drop-in

This is a program for tweens in grades 4 to 7.
