CARNIVAL SCIENCE!
Investigate Carnival Science on April 13 during Fernbank After Dark, featuring experiences that explore the science behind tricky carnival games and live music by Zale. This adults-only science night also features movies in the four-story Giant Screen Theater, small bites and a rotating menu of craft cocktails and beers from the Mesozoic Bar, exclusively for guests ages 21 and up. Taking place the 2nd Friday of each month, each Fernbank After Dark event takes on a new science theme and offers an exploration of all of the Museum's indoor exhibitions, including the current special exhibit, The Secret World Inside You.

Stomp, the percussion sensation, is back at the Fox Theatre Friday, April 6 and Saturday, April 7. A unique combination of percussion, movement and visual comedy, Stomp has created its own inimitable, contemporary form of rhythmic expression. Over the past 20 years the show has continued to change by creating new material. This year it will incorporate two new pieces. It is safe to say you will never again look at supermarket carts or plumbing fixtures the same way.

The two-day fine arts event features over 125 displays of local and regional fine art and crafts, utilizing the gorgeous landscape designed by one of America's most celebrated landscape architects, Fredrick Olmsted, Sr. In addition to the abundance of unique art, visit the children's area and enjoy gourmet food trucks, beverages and acoustic musical performances.

The 2018 Georgia Renaissance Festival opens for its 33rd Season on the weekend of April 14 & 15, and runs for 8 consecutive weekends through June 3rd, including Memorial Day. Festival guests will be greeted by Queen Anne Boleyn and her Court, merry minstrels, fair maidens, gallant Knights and a full-day of entertainment on 10 stages, food fit for kings, and a marketplace of over 150 master artisans.
