Good Afternoon Northley Families,

Tonight is the big 8th grade winter dance. I'm certain the students are at home getting dressed up for a fun night. I want to thank all the PTL for planning, coordinating, and decorating the school for this event. I know the students appreciate your efforts, though they might not want you there to chaperone.

Community gives back to Northley
While Northley students are collecting coats, hats, scarfs, and gloves on the Tree of Warmth and staff members are adopting families in need, there is an amazing story of what 3yr old Max did for some NMS students.  Max is watched by his grandmother near Northley. His grandmother read him a Facebook post about children needing food, so Max decided to help those in need with half of the money he earned from doing jobs for his grandmother. Max walked into Northley with his grandmother and gave us $25 to give to students "who need lunch money." What a wonderful lesson for all of us during this season. Take a moment and see how you can bless those around you. #PennDelcoCares

STEM night:
On December 10th, Northley hosted a special STEM night. All students and families were invited to join Philadelphia-based Robotics company, LocoRobo, for an evening of robots and drones! We learned about the magical world of sensors, robot swarms, how drones fly, and participated in hands-on activities and challenges. Professor Pramod answered student and parents' questions about careers in Robotics and new technology being developed.

Just a quick reminder that winter sports have begun. There are a number of game schedule next week, so take a look at the calendar below. Additionally, Friday, December 21st is a 10:48 am dismissal. There will be NO late bus that day.

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend.
