Liam Hickey: Silver Medal Paralympian
Congratulations to Liam Hickey on his recent silver medal win with Team Canada Para Hockey at the Pyeongchang Paralympic Winter Games. We were thrilled to recently welcome Liam back to his training homestead, the Paradise Double Ice Complex, following a motorcade through St. John's, Mount Pearl, and Paradise to celebrate his remarkable accomplishments for Team Canada Para Hockey. Liam took the time to talk about his most recent Olympic journey and share his silver medal with all those who came to cheer him on! Only 20 years of age, Liam has now competed in both the Summer and Winter Paralympic Games. He competed in wheelchair basketball at the 2016 Paralympics in Rio before making the Canadian para hockey team for the 2018 Paralympics in Pyeongchang. Way to go Liam!
