How my Catholic faith resonates with me as a teenager:
  • My parents' example formed me and continues to have a strong influence in my life.  SSPP further deepened my faith through weekly Masses, visiting the Adoration Chapel, and learning Latin hymns which I can now sing along with my grandparents.
Things I learned at SSPP that helped me the most in high school:
  • Peter and Paul's focus on grammar, vocabulary and Religion really helped prepare me for the expectations of my high school teachers. I was far ahead of most other students in knowing these areas inside and out.
Teachers at SSPP who had he most influence on me:
  • Mr. Puc had a style of teaching, and level of enthusiasm, which kept us engaged as students. I felt that he cared about my learning and gave me personal attention. He believed in me and channeled my energy into a positive direction.
Favorite Peter and Paul Experience that I still cherish:
  • Without question, it was visiting our nation's capital in 8th grade with my classmates. Being at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier for the Changing of the Guard was a truly moving experience.
  • Receiving the Blue & Gold award for football from Coach Dalton was also very special!
Advice for current students at SSPP:
  • Be kind to all of your classmates. It costs nothing! Second, don't sweat the small stuff. Prioritize! Finally, the world is a big place, go out and explore!!!

SSPP TRIVIA

When our school was founded in 1853....

.... students couldn't use legal pads to take notes as it wasn't until 1888 when Thomas W. Holley of Holyoke, MA, innovated the idea to collect various sort of substandard paper scraps from various factories, and stitch them together in order to sell them as pads at an affordable and fair price.
