Getting Ready for Spring!
Hello Farm Friends! We hope you have kept warm this winter. The animals have been staying inside these past few months and are just as eager for spring to arrive as we are! The warmer monthsare quite a busy time for us at Primrose Farm and this spring is no exception. While we are patiently waiting for our new calf and lambs to arrive, there also have some new and exciting spring programs to check out. Whether it's a leisurely visit with our animals, or participating in one of the many programs or events the farm has to offer, please stop by and say hello!

Lambs Dolly & Patsy were born on December 28.

Being cooped up inside has made us all a little stir crazy, but our spring activities are hoping to give you all a nice excuse to enjoy the warmer temperatures. Join us on April 6 as we welcome the new season and our new animal arrivals at Springtime on the Farm! This annual event is great for families and friends alike to get a close up encounter with our livestock and participate in exciting farm games and chores. We look forward to this event each year as a way to say hello to our longtime farm enthusiasts, as well as welcoming new faces!

Our drop-in programs will start up again on a weekly basis beginning in April. Whether it's feeding the chickens and goats or collecting eggs, the farm has something inclusive for everyone! Our Hands-On Milking drop-in will tentatively begin in May or early June because we're waiting for our Jersey Cow Peach to give birth. Please check our Facebook page and website for updates!

The animals have been itching to exercise in their green pastures and are anxiously waiting for the snow to melt, and so are we! In hopes of promoting a healthy lifestyle for animals and humans alike, we are hosting our very first fitness programs this April! We hope you join us on April 20 for our Farmyard Fitness Relay Day! We will trek along the farm's hiking trails while completing various relay obstacles and end with a celebration at the finish line. If a serene and relaxing fitness routine is more of your style, we will also be hosting our very first Goat Yoga class that morning. Goat Yoga is a great way to enjoy the peaceful scenery the farm has to offer, while getting some one on one interaction with our lovely Nigerian Dwarf Goats, Merle and Norman! Sign up for both and make it a fun-filled day of fitness!

Thank you again for your continued support of Primrose Farm. We look forward to seeing you all whenever you have time to stop by for a visit! If you have any questions about upcoming events, drop in programs or activities feel free to give us a call or check our Facebook Page and website for any details.
