We want to empower health professionals in all areas by providing them with the knowledge and information they need to be equipped for the digital health future. One of our initiatives is the HISA Journal Club a platform to showcase health informatics research. We launched the site to profile research by members in all areas of digital health and to provide a channel for your brilliant research to be promoted and read by more people on the shop floor of healthcare. The Journal Club is a magazine style, plain-English blog post that is designed to connect with a diverse healthcare audience and illustrate why the research is important. The Australian Digital Health Agency in collaboration with CSIRO is hosting three webinars ahead of the fifth technical Connectathon on the National Clinical Terminology Service (NCTS) including its use of HL7s FHIR. Webinars are open to everyone interested in attending. The webinars are on 5, 10 and 12 April.
