Vorgee - Open Water Festival
Did you hear about the Open Water Festival this year in Barbados? The annual five-day festival is put on by Swim Barbados Vacations , and this year was the first to feature Vorgee as an official sponsor! The festival featured 1.5km, 3.3km, 5km, and 10km races, including a separate 1.5km fun race for charity! Newsworthy performances at the event must include the triumph of Cameron Bellamy over his unbelievable goal of the 96km continuous swim around the island of Barbados. Bellamy attempted the swim last year and made it all the way to 66km, but this year completed his goal after upwards of 40 hours of swimming!

Next season Vorgee would love to lead a tour for Canadians to participate in the tropical competition at Bridgetown, Barbados. Details to follow! To read our recap on the event, click here !

Hosted by Tomenson Performance & Wellness/Heal Nutrition
Join us in sunny Palm Springs, California from January 24th-29th! This camp is for intermediate to advanced triathletes looking for swim, bike and run training during the winter.  It is perfect for those training for a spring race.

Why do it? Break up or kick start your winter training, for focused training and recovery, to meet new training partners and to get feedback from experienced coaches!

Swim sessions will be a mix of technique and distance work, with 2-3 sessions in an outdoor pool. Video feedback analysis will also be included.
Bike sessions will be a mix of flat and hilly rides on pre-planned routes under the beautiful California sun. These rides will be challenging, but suitable for late January fitness. These rides will be fully supported with a vehicle and both coaches on bikes.
Run sessions will also be fully supported, with routes pre- planned.

Additional sessions will include seminars on nutrition, strength training and injury prevention.
