New! Arts Council of Placer County and Hacker Lab are pleased to announce the
next show at Placer Artists Gallery, "Collaboration." This show will feature art that either is a collaboration between two or more artists or depicts team work or collaboration in some way.
EARTH DAY
The Earth Day Sculpture Contest is “migrating” to Auburn. All Placer County artists in ANY medium, are invited to enter our Earth Day sculpture contest titled, “Migrating through the Pages”. In partnership with Libraries and Friends of the Libraries groups of Placer County, used books of all types are provided, and artists must use a book as an integral part of the sculpture, either utilizing the actual book, or the subject of the book.

POETRY OUT LOUD
Congratulations Kat Dow, from John Adams Academy, winner of the Placer County Poetry Out Loud Competition hosted by Arts Council of Placer County. She will be moving on to the State competition, see her Sunday, March 10 in Sacramento!
STUDENT VOICES
Launched by the California Alliance for Arts Education, the Student Voices Campaign invites students in grades 7-12 to create short original videos that show their vision for their school to share with their local school board.
PERFORMING ARTS MEETING
ACPC has begun hosting quarterly meetings for Arts Organizations in Placer County. The first meeting for Performing Arts Organizations will be Thurs, March 7. For all the details and to pre-register (participation is FREE and lunch provided), email Executive Director:
