Finding YOUR Roots in Family Medicine

The Ladder Institute

The LADDER Institute will be a year-long program with initial and final meetings held in conjunction with the FMEC Annual meeting. A midyear in-person meeting will occur with date and location to follow. Longitudinal programming between meetings will occur through webinars focused on leadership development skills. Participants will be linked with a career development mentor who will assist each participant in developing a summative career development plan.

Background
The FMEC seeks to develop the full potential of Family Medicine. The full potential lies in the future, and emerging and mid-career leaders will shape this future. We seek to identify and nurture those who will become visionary leaders and advocates for Family Medicine within our health systems.

The LADDER Initiative will serve to provide a sustainable longitudinal leadership development program for select emerging and mid-career leaders that will focus on setting strategic personal and professional objectives and developing the skills to build influence and make a difference. Learn More
