Two $1,500 scholarships were awarded this year to two amazing young women attending the University of Idaho:
Catherine Feistner is a junior in her civil engineering studies while already having a major in Spanish. She lived in Walla Walla, Washington for the past 10 years before moving to Moscow, Idaho. On campus she's involved in the Humanitarian Engineering Corps as well as the Ultimate Frisbee club team. Outside of her studies, she enjoys hiking, rock climbing, photography and traveling.
Holly Terrill is a sophomore at the University of Idaho majoring in civil engineering with a focus on transportation and structures. She grew up in Ronald, Washington where she was captain of the varsity basketball team her senior year. On campus she's involved with the Society of Women Engineers, Grand Challenge Scholars Program, Honors College, ASCE, and the American Water Works Association. Outside of her studies, she enjoys a variety of sports and spending time with her family.
