Hi Kids! Welcome to the Kids' Club Newsletter for March!
 
       Check out the fun First Saturday Kids Activity mentioned below and come see us to make a fun Air Plant Aquarium! It will make a cool living decoration for your home!
 
       This year, we celebrate Ash Wednesday on March 6, turn clocks ahead one hour for Daylight Savings Time on March 10, celebrate St. Patrick's Day on March 17 and welcome the FIRST DAY OF SPRING on March 20!
 
       Many of us look forward to spring this time of year. We are awaiting the arrival of warmer weather that will let us get outside for many activities. Gardeners are especially excited to get outside, plant gardens and enjoy the fresh air!

SPRING is coming SOON!

       Now is the time for gardeners to plan and prepare their gardens for spring planting. Seeds are available and can be started indoors NOW! Cool season flower and vegetable plant starts will be available at the garden center soon.  
       Tell your parents you want to grow a garden this year and think some types of flower and vegetable plants that you would like to grow. Gardens can be all sizes from small container gardens to small or large gardens in the ground. Find a spot for your very own garden - in the ground or in containers. We will be able to plant cool season varieties soon! Cool season vegetables include lettuce, spinach, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, Brussels sprouts and more. Cool season flowers include pansies, violas, petunia, snapdragon, nasturtiums, diascia, lobelia, and more. Spring is on its way!
