To dancers, the arrival of spring means an exciting time-RECITAL!! 
We return from our spring break on Saturday April 7th and look forward to dancing on our newly done floors and in freshly painted dance rooms!  
  The remainder of the studio will be painted throughout weeks we close in the summer.  

Current students-be on the lookout for the final recital news that will go out at the end of April.  It will have specific rehearsal times for each class.

Reminder:  At this time of the year it is important to be in class as all routines are being completed and rehearsed for the show.  Try your best to make every class!

WEE DANCE

Our next 6-week session will begin on Wednesday, April 11th for little ones age 2-3 and their mom or caregiver. It's a special one on one time dedicated to those little ones!

On Saturday, April  14th we will have an optional individual picture day.  There will be no group photos but multiple dancers can be photographed together.  Any dancer interested will be photographed by DSM Productions, who is a new company to us that came highly recommended as they do photo shoots for many costume company catalogs.  They do both headshots and full body with digital files and additional online ordering.  You can visit  www.dsmcustomerservice.com for samples and can pick up pricing sheets at the studio.  Prices begin at $25.

Weekly Performing Arts Camps

These fun yet educational camps are for the students who are interested in dance, art, and performing!  Each day they work on different dance styles and technique along with learning a routine in that genre.  They make a prop that is used for each dance they learn.  At the end of the week, they will have put together a mini show to entertain family and friends!
  JUNE 4th-7th 
Ages 3-5 from 9:30-12:30  $150
Theme:  Junior Cartoon Mania 
dancing with some of the cartoon shows on all your favorite "junior" networks

JUNE 25th-28th
Ages 8-12 from 9:30-3:30 $250 
      Theme: So You Think You Can Dance 
dancing each day to a different styles as you'd see on SYTYCD
  
JULY 16TH-19TH  
Ages 5-7 from 9:30-12:30 $150
    Theme:  Barbie & Friends 
dancing each day focusing on various careers each day 
& Ages 8-12 from 9:30-3:30 $250  
Theme:  At the Movies 
dancing each day to different styles of dance based off a different movie each day
 
Summer Intensive Weeks for Ages 8 & up: 
These are for the serious dancers who want intense yet fun training with our current staff and guests each day!  It's like going away to a dance convention but held right here at ADA!! 
Times:  9:00-5:00  Cost: $350 
Dancers will be divided into levels each week
June 18th-21st  Intensive #1
July 9th-12th  Intensive #2
July 23rd-26th  Intensive #3 
 
Summer Master Classes 
Evenings of June 6th, August 8th &  August 29th
$30/one hour Levels 3 and under
$45/1.5 hours Levels 4 & 5
Dance company members will automatically be signed up for these classes and all others are on a drop in basis and pay when you get there.

We want to congratulate every company dancer and Miss Jessica on a fabulous Showcase performance!!  We are all so proud of the dedication and talent of these girls!!  You can keep up to date on their competition results via our Instagram account.
 
 
DANCE COMPANY 2018/19  Invitations to join our dance company will go out this week and there is an informative parent meeting on 4/18 from 8:30-9:30.  If your child has been invited we encourage you to attend the parent meeting and ask any questions you may have.  
 
  We are also having a "Meet & Greet" with Mini Dance Company on Thursday April 19th!  This is for any dancer interested in joining our new Petite or Mini Dance Company next year. Petite & Mini dance companies are for dancers currently in PS 2 through Elem 2.  Come meet Miss Jessica and see what the company is all about! Dancers will take a class and watch a performance.  
 
If you child did not receive an invitation but you are interested, please leave your name at the desk or respond to this email.   Anyone who will be new to ADA can set up a special audition time by calling the studio at 302-234-9900.

May 10th:  Dress Rehearsal for everyone in the recital-Held at St Mark's High School  Dancers arrive at 5:30, rehearsal begins at 6

May 11th 6:30 PM & 12th 2:00 PM:  Recital "A Reason To Celebrate" held at St Mark's High School

May 14th-19th:  Recital After/Glow Party held at the studio during class time

May 19th-24th:  Bring a Friend/Try any class for FREE

May 24th:  Last day of classes for the season
