Dear BFCCPS Community,

It's hard to believe that we are already in the Third Trimester of the 2018-2019 school year! This is typically an incredibly exciting, but also incredibly busy time of year.

Today I am writing to share details of the 2018 Fine and Performing Arts Week.  You will find information about the upcoming Spring Concerts, our Annual Art Show, the Memorial Day Concert and much more.  Please be sure to review the upcoming dates and mark your calendars accordingly.

Have a great rest of the week,

Mrs. Heather Zolnowski
Head of School

The event will feature all students in Grade 3, as well as students in Grade 4 and 5 who have joined the BFCCPS Concert Band or Wind Ensemble.

We look forward to seeing you there!
BFCCPS Art Show:

The BCCPS Art Show will be held at Dean College Guidrey Center May 31st through June 2nd.  The show is open to the public and features art from every student enrolled at BFCCPS!

The event will be held at the Guidrey Center located at 101 West Central Street in Franklin.  The exhibits will be on display and open to the public on May 31st from noon to 8 pm or June 1st from 10 am to 2pm.

Parent Volunteers are needed for set up at Dean on  5/29 and 5/30  and for break down on  6/1 . Please contact  Mrs. Schwab  if you can assist.

Memorial Day Parade:

The BFCCPS Marching Band and Color Guard will perform in the annual Town of Franklin Memorial Day Parade.

Students are to meet and form at  10:00 am on West Central Street (NOT BFCCPS) at the Century 21 Realtors parking lot.  After the parade, you can pick up your child at BFCCPS.

We could use parents to walk with the band along the route and also a truck to transport percussion instruments, as well as a water donation.  If you can help out please email Ms. Schwab at  [email protected]

Don't forget our two evening rehearsals:  Thursday, 5/17 & Wednesday, 5/23 from 3:20-5:00pm ~ Please note:  YOU MUST HAVE YOUR CONCUSSION FORMS COMPLETED TO PARTICIPATE.

Grade Six through Eight
